Beginning Band Needs Music

My students need sheet music for beginning band.

My Students

My beginning band students are working very hard to become great musicians. I would like for them to perform in a spring and winter concert. The only problem is, I don't have music that is on their ability level to play.

I teach 5th grade beginning band in a high-need community.

Our school building is a Title One School. My students are full of energy and love band class. Due to very tight financial times in our district, many of the activities, once offered to the students, are no longer offered to them. Band is the exception. Many of the middle school students express a desire to join the band.

My Project

Our school building was reconfigured this year to include 5th grade. With 5th grade moving to our middle school building, 5th grade beginning band was added to my teaching schedule. I don't have any music that is the appropriate level of difficulty for this age group. I am requesting beginning level concert band pieces so my 5th grade band students can perform a concert.

Please help my beginning band students "show their stuff!" I want to showcase the accomplishments my students have made throughout the school year.

By donating to this project, you will provide my beginning band with appropriate concert music. They are so excited about the possibility of performing for their friends and family. With your donation, you will give my students lasting and meaningful memories of their first concert.
