My students need a set of computer speakers and a digital camera.

My Students

Video and audio are both used in my classroom to support our curriculum. My class currently uses an averkey, which supports quality education videos, however we do not have quality speakers.

I teach third grade at a high need school in NC.

My students are enthusiastic and grasp on to concepts that are concrete to them. When they can make connections between the curriculum and their lives, the learning experience is much more meaningful to my students.

My Project

These two resources will provide several opportunities for my students to further their education. The computer speakers will help to make the videos and audio used in my classroom to be more effective. Our current computer speakers do not provide enough sound for my entire class. A set of computer speakers will project sound so that all scholars can hear and understand what is presented, making it a much more meaningful experience. The digital camera will allow my students to capture moments across all curricular areas. It will give students an opportunity to capture those memorable moments throughout the school year.

Your donation will provide more opportunities for my students to further their learning.

They already enjoy the videos that I show, connecting them to science, literacy and other academic areas. Now they will be able to understand the presented material without straining.
