My Students

Inspired minds need to see their efforts in vibrant color. The printers that we have available are unable to produce and replicate the quality work that my students create.

I teach 6th grade Literacy and Social Studies in a low-income, high-need area of the Bronx, NY.

My students are highly motivated and energetic. They are ready to learn the moment they walk into the classroom doors. My class contains a mixture of special education, English Language Learners (ELLs) and regular education students.

My Project

I am requesting a HP OfficeJet printer and necessary replacement printer cartridges. The printer will not only allow my students to see their work in color, but it will also function as a scanner. With a color printer my students will be able to see their images and projects come to life. They spend a great deal of time working on PowerPoint presentations in social studies and literacy and while we have access to printers, they truly don't showcase their wonderful work.

Your donations will allow my students to truly see their creativity and imagination come to life.

My students are creative and intelligent and it's important that they are able to see their work the way it was imagined and presented.
