My Students

I BET OUR MUSIC SOUNDS AWESOME! Now, if we could hear our compositions and playing, it would be wonderful. We have these great keyboards, but our headphones belong in an Audio museum. Please help us get up to date with our Music Program.

Our students are the best kids in the world.

They work hard and appreciate everything they have. Our poverty index is over 60% and free and reduced lunch is over 50%. Once they are given the opportunity in any subject, they excel. Our school is based on three core beliefs- Respect, Responsibility, and being Ready.

My Project

Our students will use the headphones to listen to their original compositions and other student's work. The keyboard lab would be complete with this equipment. In addition, all 900 students will be able to use the headphones. The students will practice music and be able to hear what they are playing.

By having 50 headphones, we can affect 900 students because they all will use the headphones to listen while they play the keyboards.

In addition, we have an IPOD lab, these headphones could be used for that too.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
