My Students

Do you have a jump-drive? Do you have a laptop? These are things that are so critical in today's society and students need to know how to use both!

I teach students who live in a resort, coastal town.

My students vary in socio-economic levels from hotel owner to maintenance worker. They vary in interests also, most will go to college and some will go straight to work. My kids really like technology, it surrounds them in the real world. My Principal encourages teachers to try new ideas with technology and so I am following her lead!

My Project

My students work in technology, but they do not have a method to save their progress. They often work on the computers at school and then finish the project at home. However, they can not transport the document due to the network. I want to give my College-Prep students a jump-drive so they can save their work and finish at home. I want students to know before they go to college or to work how to use thumb drives and how to use computers. These are two aspects that are so important to our classroom, college and the real world.

Giving students a jump-drive and a laptop is a huge step in making students proficient in technology.

It makes such a difference in helping students get prepared for college and the real world. Help me give them the HP products that they need for success!
