My Students

My students have worked so hard in third grade! What are they going to do over the summer so they do not lose any of their acquired skills? How are all of my bilingual students going to practice their English?

I have a wonderful group of third graders.

My students love to read and especially love science experiments. They love math games too. We live in a big city in Texas. All of my students are economically disadvantaged and are bilingual. They love learning. We have set high goals for third grade and they are all making good progress.

My Project

I am requesting Summer Activity Workbooks for each of my students and a popular book, Tales of A Fourth Grade Nothing. My students will be able to practice math, reading, and writing skills over the summer so they will be able to start fourth grade at the head of their class. My student's parents lack resources to send their children to summer school so this will be very helpful to my families. I will celebrate with a popcorn party with my students who bring a completed workbook to school in the fall.

Your generous donation will guarantee that my students have an opportunity for daily math, reading, and writing over the summer.
