My Students

Oh, how my students would love to see the world and with your donation you can help bring it to them.

I have a class of 14 four-year olds.

They are so amazing! Their eagerness to learn brings joy to me everyday. They attend a rural public school and I don't even have a white board to teach them with. All that I have in my classroom is a chalkboard and I would love to bring our room to life for them.

My Project

Imagine when you were in school. Now imagine what it would have been like if your teachers could have removed all boundaries and brought the world into your classroom for you to see. This is my wish for my students. The uses for a multi-media projector are endless. There is no way that I can name everything I could do with one but some of my ideas include being able to show my students actual videos of animals when we are learning about different animals, being able to play educational games available on the internet as a class and introducing my students to the "letter people" videos available on the world wide web. Basically any visual or activity available on the web to assist my students learning would be available for all my students to see.

I know that by having a multi-media projector in my classroom that I will be able to inspire my students even more.

I also believe that by having a multi-media projector in my classroom that I will be able to reach even more of those "hard to reach" students. I am very into technology and believe that the students I teach now and will teach in the future are "tech kids". The possibilities are endless when you mix technology and education!
