Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

What do you remember about your childhood? I want to create some memories for my students that make learning enjoyable for them. I teach fifth grade at a very high poverty school in Utah where more than 80% of my students are on free and reduced lunch. The only consistency in many of my students life is school! My students don't get to experience many enjoyable things in life!

Do you like to look at pictures of your childhood? Most of my students don't even have a camera in their home, let alone a video camera! If we had two video cameras that we can share throughout our class, my students would be able to work collaboratively together to enhance their learning through technology!

With these cameras, we would film commercials, movies, newscasts, and other fun activities where students can show me what they have learned!

Your generous donation will help to bring fun to school, again! It will also be able to create memories for my students that they can keep with them for life by having it in video form! Please help!
