I am an AIS teacher serving grades K-5. I work in a high-needs district where more than 50% of the students receive free or reduced lunch.

I have decided to start a school newspaper club, which was open to third, fourth, and fifth grade students. There was an overwhelming interest in becoming a part of the club. Just this past month we published the first issue of the Tiger Cub Times. The newspaper has everything from school and classroom news complete with photos and captions of the events, to book and movie reviews, as well as student spotlights, character education corner and jokes. For this issue, I had the student photographers use my personal camera for picture taking.

It would be so wonderful to have a camera accessible for the Tiger Cub Times student photographers when needed so that they can capture school and classroom events.
