Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Ever wonder what it is like to be in a New Show? Students in my classroom come from an area that has been hit hard by the recession. Many students grabbed on to this idea of running a news show because it is run by the students with little input from me. The entire class come together to make each show run correctly. This project allows the students to form a company and learn what it takes in the real world to accomplish something.

Students in my classroom come from an area that has been hit hard by the recession. The students grab a hold of this project because it is something that they run and create something as a class without the constant input from me. Students get to experience what it takes to create the news show that they watch every night. The biggest problem we have is lack of up to date or even working equipment.

We are looking for a couple of wireless microphones. These microphones will allow my students to learn to use sounds equipment in their production. These mics will allow the students program to sound professional and give them a finished product that they can be proud of.

You will make it possible for my students to see there are areas they can pursue after high school.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
