I teach first grade at a new school. We just recently opened up a few years ago. While having a new building is great, we do not have all the materials that the established schools have so we are still lacking in some areas of technology.

We face the obstacle of not having a lot of technology. We are slowly working on purchasing Smart Boards for some of the classrooms. This is quite a project. We are using all of our fundraiser money to complete these and they are going to the upper graders first. We still have 8 teachers in 3-5 grade who are waiting on them.

I feel like an Elmo would really benefit my classroom. It would allow me to take many of my teaching materials and place them on the screen to display to my whole class at once.

With your donation, you will ensure my classroom will become more technology friendly. The students will benefit from being able to see the resources at one time, instead of having to wait to pass everything around. The Elmo's also allow you to zoom in on certain parts so during our animal and plant study, we could zoom to see the parts more carefully.
