A SMART (Board) Dilemma!

My students need a laptop computer.

I am writing on behalf of my third grade students at a wonderful school in the inner city. Through grants and donations, my students have been provided with many supplies and opportunities that otherwise would not have been possible. Recently, we were informed that we will receive a SMART board for our classroom. However, this new technology will require a laptop. While we do have computers in our classroom, we are in desperate need of a laptop. An HP laptop will make it possible for my students to explore and engage in the various learning opportunities made possible through SMART board technology. I cannot wait to feel the excitement in my classroom that will come when my students are able to fully immerse themselves in engaging learning activities!
