My students need a variety of music and vocal techniques to sing on our Karaoke player.

When I first started at this school there was one Jazz CD and no money in the budget to buy anything. Our charter school is located in a high poverty area in Michigan. My students range from kindergarten to 5th grade and really really like to sing!

Now that we have a karaoke machine, we don't have any music besides Christmas music to play on it. Not only do they sing well but I feel the karaoke helps improve the reading skills of all of my students. When the words change colors, the younger students can follow along. It's fun and doesn't rip like paper and the school will be able to use it for years to come.

I need music that they will like, that they will sing and that will help them develop their voices and an interest in music. I've listed R & B, Hip Hop,Motown,Folk and Cartoon Music to name a few genres. Something for everyone spanning from kindergarten to 5th grade. This music will last forever and the songs are great songs that will be able to be sung for years to come by thousand of students!

You will make it possible that our school is filled with music throughout the year. The joy of singing is priceless and giving them the tools of vocal warm-ups and timeless classics that can be sung for years to come.
