My students need 3 tubanos to learn about World Drum Circles.

Music is therapeutic. I teach general music to third through sixth graders in a high-needs Illinois school.

My students love playing instruments- they ask me every day, "What do we get to use today?" Only thing is, we don't have very many instruments.

I am asking for 3 tubanos to start a collection of World Drums for my students to learn about drum circles. Drum circles aren't just about playing different rhythm patterns, they also provide an opportunity for students to communicate through music by sharing, listening, and respecting one another.

Your help will make it possible for my students to learn how to work together, treat everyone as an equal, and, as a result, make beautiful music.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
