Hi! I am an elementary music teacher in Florida. I have been teaching for 14 years now, and love what I do.

I teach 700 students in a school that consists of a diverse community of learners, as well as special need students. I have found that making music is something that really brings them all together. But I have to teach them on a yearly budget of $75.

I would love to be able to foster their love of music by teaching them the basics of an instrument that they can carry with them through the rest of their lives. For kids, the ukulele is a forerunner of the guitar. With these basic guitar skills, they can continue their love and appreciation of all kinds of music as they grow older. My students need 10 soprano ukuleles and a learn how to play DVD and song book.

Your generosity would foster creativity and a love and understanding of the art of music. You would make it possible for my students to learn music standards, learn how to play an instrument, and give them an opportunity to have a means of expression that will be with them throughout their lives.
