Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach 5th grade to a classroom of students from a variety of different cultures and backgrounds. My students are extremely bright, but sadly our school lacks resources vital for their educations.

Vocabulary study is one of the key components to literacy instruction; however, it is almost impossible to teach without the proper resources.

There is a direct correlation between vocabulary and reading comprehension, and my students need dictionaries in order to complete their daily vocabulary work.

Please help my students to become better writers, better readers, and better thinkers. Allow them to wow the world with their words. Your gift of a classroom set of dictionaries could very well be the difference in the success of my students. Thank you for your consideration.
