The rural school district where I teach agriscience for high school students encourages hand-on, interactive, inquiry based learning- like dissection! Students in my college credit agriscience education course are itching to complete a lab unit.

We would very much like to dissect fetal pigs. Students will have the opportunity to learn about the anatomy of a production animal as well as develop a deeper understanding of mammalian life systems.

However, our small school has just started the agriscience program and supplies are limited. We were recently awarded funding for pans, tools and dissection lab books to get us started. However now we need the pigs and remaining lab supplies! Please help us complete this mission and prepare ourselves for college science courses.

Your donation to this project will bring college-level learning to our rural classroom. Participating in this dissection unit will provide my students with viable, hands-on scientific learning.
