I am a kindergarten teacher in a high-needs community in Texas. Our school was built two years ago and we are very limited in our resources. Many of my students have never been outside of our city, and some rarely leave their apartment complexes.

It takes many years to build-up resources that are needed in a kindergarten class room. We have the basic supplies that the district has given us for start-up, but we need to make the classroom more engaging. We have received a wonderful digital camera from generous DonorsChoose donors. It would extend our learning to have a printer in our classroom.

We need an HP photo printer and printing supplies to print pictures of our classroom activities. My students love to write about what we are doing in class. As of now it takes days or weeks for us to get our photos back to write about them and sometimes it is hard for us to recall the details of our activities.

Your help will ensure that my students will develop a strong educational foundation to build their future upon. You will also make it possible for my students to reach out to the world around us and learn to be responsible citizens.
