The Magic Carpet Ride

My students need a special classroom carpet for them to use while reading in small groups, building with blocks and exploring math materials.

I teach a full day kindergarten class in a school with a diverse student population which includes; Caucasian, Asian, Hispanic, and African-American children. Our school has an International Night event to celebrate the diversity at our school.

My kindergarten students come from a variety of cultural backgrounds which we celebrate at our school. I want to help develop my students' social skills in a safe and organized manner.

I need a carpet for my students to help create a special space for them to work on various activities such as, reading in small groups, singing songs as a whole class, participating in group discussions about social skills, working with partners, and building with blocks.

Your help in supporting this project will create a positively magical learning environment for my kindergarten students for many years to come. You will make it possible for my students to share and learn about one another in a safe and organized way.
