My students need rewards for outstanding performance on Madness tests such as "Sweet Sixteen"screen printed t-shirts which are given to the students who advance to the third round of the Madness bracket.

This gift would help 3 World History teachers and 3 English teachers that teach sophomore level students provide gifts for students that perform at an outstanding level during the second semester of the 2009-2010 school year, our district is currently in serious financial turmoil.

This competition has gone on at our school for the past 8 years, and due to budgetary problems, we may be forced to stop this competition which has lifted several student's to higher levels than previously demonstrated in our classes. The principal has agreed to pay for the screen printing of the shirts if we can get the t-shirts donated for our students.

We will be giving these t-shirts to students that perform at an outstanding level on assessments which meet the state's grade level expectations.

Your help will ensure that this popular and long-lasting competition will continue to challenge and motivate our students at our school.
