Science Laboratory Demonstration Equipment Initiative

My students need 5 hands-on laboratory equipment instruments to investigate phsics during the laboratory experiences.

I am trying to increase the number of hands-on laboratory experiences offered in our science curriculum. My goal is to give the students as much exposure to these labs to help prepare them for the labs that will experience at the college level. I teach HS chemistry in a charter school in a high-need community in southern New Jersey. This equipment will also be used to address the needs of students with learning difficulties. Thank you in advance!

My students have not had many teachers that have allowed them to actually use the science equipment themselves. I am trying to provide these students with as much practical laboratory experience as possible to prepare them for post-secondary science courses.

We are asking for some basic equipment such as a conductivity tester, specific gravity specimens, and a Hoffman electrolysis apparatus to separate water into oxygen and hydrogen.

You make it possible for my students to actually have hands-on laboratories with equipment that most high schools already have. With your help we can offer these important educational experiences. My students always enjoy a good lab that is directly related to the content!
