To Kill A Mockingbird For My 7th Graders

My students need a class set of the novel To Kill a Mockingbird.

Help bring the classics back to life! I teach 7th grade Reading in a high-need community. Our school has some class sets of novels but the students are becoming interested in the classics.

My students have shown a high interest in classical novels. They have raised their own academic bar and want novels that are more challenging. We do not have the funds to buy these books and the students' families can not fund buying them each their own copy.

I need a class set (35) of the novel "To Kill a Mockingbird" for my class. This is a novel the students picked themselves from a list and they are eager to begin reading it. This novel will challenge the students with their critical thinking skills and with higher-level thinking.

You will make it possible for students who are living at a high poverty level to compete with more privileged students in both high school and college. My students need this challenge to give them an edge as they further their education. I hope you can help me with this endeavor.
