My students need 15 books from the Captain Underpants series that spark the interest of the boys.

I am a third grade teacher in a high-need neighborhood on the South side of Chicago. One of my struggles is finding literature that interests my boys and gets them excited to read.

I finally found a series that does exactly this, Captain Underpants. I had one book from the Captain Underpants series in my classroom library. One of the boys found it and read it and loved it. Now all the boys want to read it.

Since I only have one copy of this book they are not all able to read it. I would like to get many books from this series so that I can get the boys in my class engaged in reading. These books spark their interest and I want to capitalize on this opportunity to help instill a love of reading in them.

You can make it possible for my male students to have a set of books that interests them and engages them in reading. A love of reading can be developed as young children. Help to spark this love of reading in my boys.
