We've Got The Write Stuff!

My students need a research and report writing center and a daily language practice center.

I teach an energetic group of third graders in the heart of a high-needs community in North Carolina.

Writing is a difficult subject for many students - but it is one of the most important skills our students need to succeed! This year, our class has already covered the personal narrative, personal letter, and descriptive paragraph. My students are very excited about learning to write a research paper, but my classroom is lacking in supplies. You can help!!

The resources we've asked for are two-fold. First, a writing center to help students work on important writing skills daily. Short and sweet, this center will be a constant in our classroom - a great way to keep skills fresh! Second, an interest-based writing center to help students dive into the world of non-fiction writing. With exciting topics and built-in writing ideas, students are sure to love this center activity!

With your support, these incredible third graders will build their writing confidence as they use the centers to practice skills and discover new and exciting genres in which to write.
