Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach general music grades PreK-8 in an urban setting. My school is in a low income neighborhood. My school population is very diverse. I see all students at least once a week for music class.

My students love to listen to music and they love to move to music. I do not have a budget and rely on grants to fund my program. This will help my students learn about beat and rhythm in music class.

I need some wonderful music CDs and listening guides. WIth the music and listening guides, my students will be able to listen the music and perform movement activities with the music. This will help teach the students the concepts of beat and rhythm. This grant will help to teach my students these concepts.

Your donation will make it possible for my students to have some quality music to use in general music that will teach them the music concepts of beat and rhythm.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
