My students need 40 copies of the book "No More Dead Dogs".

I teach English to 7th, 8th, and 9th grade students in a very low income school district. These students face many challenges outside of school and are often written off before they've even been given a chance to succeed.

Our school district is unable to supply the needed materials for the classroom. Other needs trump the need for updated novels in the classroom. Most of the novel choices we have are either very old and outdated, or in such bad condition they can not be used effectively.

I need 40 copies of the book "No More Dead Dogs" to teach to my students this year and in the years to come. These books will help enhance their curriculum as well as introducing them to a new author that they may not have discovered otherwise.

Your donations will make it possible for my students to have access to a new author they may never discover otherwise. They will also be shown that there are people out there who care enough to help them succeed and enhance their learning. My students appreciate little things because they have so little themselves, and the realization that there are people out there invested in their education will empower them and boost their self-esteems.
