This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Hello. I teach English, Social Studies, and Science at a Public High School in North Philadelphia. Most of my students have special needs. These students are from a predominantly low-income environment, and often English is their second language.

I currently have a laptop, and am seeking an LCD projector to provide an interactive learning experience for them. Because of their special needs, this projector will definitely benefit them. This will also aid in their transition plans to college. In my professional career, I have already sent several special needs students to college, and I am looking to increase that number.

Our school is under-funded, and does not have the resources my students need to achieve at a high level. An LCD projector would really help my students achieve.

Your donation will make my students' dreams possible. Students these days react very strongly to technology in the classroom. Interactive lessons are highly effective with the population of students I work with. I really appreciate your support.
