Our school is a high-need, low-income community whose focus and funding has been turned to improving test scores; therefore, education in the arts has been pushed aside.

Funding has been completely eliminated in music and the arts. Students receive no instruction in either area. They have no outlet for creative expression. But they absolutely love to sing and dance!

We have decided to put on a show! Students will stage and perform "Willy Wonka Junior" but we need your help to be sure all students can be seen. We need two follow-spotlights so everyone's talents can be on display. These items will be used this year, and for many performances to come!

Your donation will provide my students with the opportunity to realize their dreams of performing in the spotlight. And we might even find a future American Idol while we're at it!
