My students need to benefit from Lesson Enhanced Technology. By projecting multimedia on a Visual Presenter, I can reach a variety of learners, motivate interest, and work to closed the ever so widening Achievement Gap for children of poverty in my city.

Hi, I am a 5th grade teacher in a high poverty community. I have been blessed to teach 27 young and ambitious students this year. My students come from various walks of life and enrich my life daily.

Working in an impoverished district we face many challenges...despite these obstacles we press on. My students love lessons enhanced with technology and they would greatly benefit by having a projector in our classroom.

Many of my students do not have Internet services or even a computer in their homes. Currently, we use an outdated overhead projector for teaching. This will not allow my to connect technology through a computer. With a gift of an ELMO Projector, we will be able to share lessons and a variety of global knowledge with students. My passion is to create 21st Century Self-directed Learners and I can only make this happen with the Miracle of technology enhancement.

By contributing to our "2010 Educational Wish" you will be a miracle-maker for 27 future 21st Century Learners and Global Community members!
