Hello, I teach every computer course offered in the school district at an alternative school for middle and high school students. Our school district is growing every year and we are already the largest school district in Mississippi. We are in a low-income community. Our school does not receive regular funding as do the other schools in our district.

My students work on a computer daily. It is my responsibility to teach my students many aspects of a computer. One of the objectives in Computer Discovery is to be able to manipulate photos using photo software. I have computers in my classroom but nothing else to meet these requirements.

A digital camera would be used to gather the needed photos. Microsoft Movie Maker could be used to display and present their work. Being able to use this software in combination with the digital camera will prepare my students for college courses. It will help them to learn software that will improve their skills to create dramatic and creative presentations.

Help me help my students. By donating a digital camera, you will provide more learning in the classroom. Having a digital camera will make it possible for us to use technology to enhance learning.
