Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Small hands: My first grader students would like to continue to play a HUGE part in recycling at our school.

We have been working to step up our recycling efforts at our building for the past two years. Unfortunately the bins we currently have in our classrooms are much too large for some students to carry independently. This sends a clear message that some students are simply too little to help out. We believe that size should not matter; because even small hands can make HUGE changes.

By having these smaller cans ALL students can easily participate in recycling. By having these uniform cans it will be easy to spot them in every classroom and office space which will remind and encourage all staff, students and visitors to recycle their paper waste.

Please help my students make a HUGE difference, so that all students get the opportunity to lend a hand in recycling.
