I am a special education teacher who works with 6th grade students with moderate to severe communication difficulties, generally kids who have been identified with autism.

Sometimes crayons and markers are not enough to inspire students to be creative, especially if they have difficulty with writing activities. I would like to give my students an opportunity to participate in their learning by using what works for them. This is where I am asking for your help and generosity.

To keep my students successful, interested, and improve upon their skills, I am in need of a variety of art supplies, including: tag board paper, pipe stems, glue, feathers, sequins, and paint. These art supplies would allow my students to independently create art pieces they can share with others.

With your help, these students will continue to improve their abilities in fine motor skills and creativity as they participate in their learning. The greatest thing in life is to see a child's smile, to hear a child's laugh, and to know you impacted the way a child feels, please help me do this.
