Great Computer Challenge

My 24 students each need a 2.0 GB flash drive to save their work on.

I am a school counselor in a K-5 elementary school. I work in a Title I, At-Risk school environment.

Our students are amazing and have a so much potential but little access to technology outside of school. We are working to give them the technology tools and knowledge they need to succeed.

I am currently facilitating two groups of students, one of fourth grade students and another of fifth grade students. We are working to teach students computer skills such as typing, creating graphic art, creating slideshows, and more. Students need a flash drive to learn how to save their work and transfer them to a different computer. We don't have the resources for each child to use the same computer each week so it is essential that they have a place to keep their work and transfer it to the computer they may be working on each week.

You will make it possible for these students to have access to 21st century technology and create amazing work that they can be proud to share. We are building the foundation of future success that these students may not otherwise have access.
