Help my students learn to type using new software on the computers we already have! I serve as the Librarian and the Tech Coordinator in a rural school with a very high level of poverty. I teach classes so our classroom teachers can have a plan period. Being a "techie" I want my kids to get on the computer... but most of them have never even touched a keyboard or mouse!

Typing is absolutely essential in today's digital age... problem is 90% of my students don't have access to computers except at school. So my kids struggle. And with 100% online testing coming to Missouri, we must be ready! It's a "Race to the Top" and we're already behind. I am committed to teaching all my students to be able to type 100%!

We need the software to make this happen. Once installed, we can divide into 2 teams and rotate everyone through, so they are ready to tackle challenging assignments like PowerPoint presentations and online state assessments.

Your gift of typing software will last beyond one semester or even one year... mastery of typing/keyboarding will stay with them into Middle/High School, College and the work-world. Thank you!
