Paper and Pencil vs Graphing Calculator is like comparing night to day. I teach Algebra I to 9th and 10th grade students in a rural high-need school. The school district does not have the funds to buy classroom teachers and students the much needed technology.

These calculators are needed to better prepare the students for college. It is a "technology" world and for students to be successful in it they must have access to technology.

These TI-83 Plus calculators will help students broaden and stretch their Algebra knowledge base and prepare them for college.
