Urban Ecology - Creating a Better City

My students need 1-3 copies of 24 titles, including "Urban Roosts: Where Birds Nest in the City", "My Map Book" and "Look What I Did with a Leaf!".

I teach a Special Education class in an urban school district where the majority of students receive free or reduced price meals.

My students want to protect our environment. They are at their best when they work in our outdoor classroom. They enjoy learning about the different animals, insects, plants and trees in our outdoor classroom. They also enjoy sharing what they learn with their peers!

Our class needs 50 books, so that we can learn about the various ways we can protect and preserve our urban environment. Additionally, our class would like to use their new knowledge to share with their younger peers.

You will make it possible for my in-need students to have a hands on experience in a safe and nurturing environment.
