My students need 45 USB Thumb Drives or Flash Drives to allow them to safely and completely save their technology related assignments for math, science and social studies.

"Learners for the Future!" These are the kids in my classroom. I teach 4th grade math, science and social studies to a diverse population including bilingual students. We are in need of a way to better incorporate technology into the classroom setting.

In the past students have created technology projects for math, science and social studies while in the computer lab, only to have them disappear from our shared school drive. Not only is this very disappointing to the students to have their hard work disappear, it is very frustrating as a teacher to want to enhance and extend their classroom knowledge through the use of technology, and have it be gone or altered the next time the students want to add more information to their project.

My students need USB Flash drive storage devices. With a class set of thumb drives or flash drives for both of my classes, each student would be able to save their technology projects on their assigned thumb drive. This would eliminate the worry and stress about whether or not their project was still in existence or if they would need to start completely over. This also would be a great time saver. By using thumb drives students could update and improve on their projects as they acquire more knowledge.

Your help will make it possible for my students to truly be Learners for the Future with a complete set of technology skills acquired through the extension and enrichment of their regular math, science and social studies curriculum.
