Today we're going to battle, well, Battleship. Captains ready? What 4th grader can resist competing and playing games in class? I teach literacy and math to enthusiastic students that need practice with their skills.

Encouraging practice at home is hard. Worksheets are worse! Playing games is fun! With a shelf of games our classroom will be one turn, roll, or spin away from success!

Yahtzee is just one way to practice math fact multiples and addition. Vocabulary building, compete with Boggle! Coordinate grid practice, well that is just one "hit" away in Battleship.

Your help will make learning through play a reality in my classroom. Students are thrilled to play games, and with your donation they will have games to use in class that work on skills we have learned to use!
