I am the luckiest teacher in the world!! I have the opportunity to work with some wonderful 5th grade students in a Title 1 school in California. Most of my students do not have access to technology at home, but I know I would be able to increase their interest in school by incorporating technology into my regular curriculum.

Music plays a big part in my making the curriculum accessible to my students. My English language learners might struggle with the difficult academic vocabulary that is found in our textbooks, but they love to sing songs about math, science, and history!

I have many educational songs downloaded on my iPod, but I do not have a set of speakers to play the music that I have available. The set of speakers I had set up to play music have stopped working, and I do not have the money in my budget to purchase a new set.

By donating to my project, you will make it possible for my students to continue to learn about difficult subject areas through song. These kids are amazing and deserve to have every opportunity to succeed.
