My students need a laptop that they all can use every day in class to edit digital video projects, research information, and work on college on line applications. This laptop will give every student computer access every day.

I teach seniors at a vocational high school in the inner city of Buffalo, New York. My students are always eager to learn and use technology in the classroom to create exciting imaginative projects. Most of my students do not all have access to a computer at home or even in school. Many of my students are working on, projects and even college applications and digital video projects, and this will allow them computer access everyday they are in school. Computer access and the Internet in not available to all of my students and your donation will make this a reality for my senior class. With a classroom computer, everybody will be able to use it everyday. Please allow them to cross this digital divide.

This laptop computer will be available to my students every day they come to my class with their ideas hopes and expectations and dreams of college. The laptop will allow them to work on current projects and college applications too. The students will also look at various colleges to see if they are interested and what programs they offer. Also, they can search the Internet for scholarship opportunities that they can apply for with this student computer. Computers offer a world of knowledge that my students are eagerly awaiting everyday access to a reliable computer that they can use during class to work on projects, video editing, or college applications.

Your donations will make it possible for my students to use the Internet to research their future choices for college, current projects, and edit video films they produce to enhance learning. The computer will allow them to express their creativity and individuality with creative projects in my class. You can make a difference helping my students use the internet whenever they are in my class. So, please help us obtain a classroom computer. Thank you! We are ready to put the laptop to good use.
