Hello, I am blessed to lead Science and History learning daily with some of the brightest 8th grade scholars in the south, but many people judge us for being poor and never making federal or state academic mandates.

These stereotypes have caused many students to feel that they are not smart, but the power of hands on science has taught them different. Last year my students got the second highest Science test scores in the county, a first for my school and my students. This year my class want to be first but many topics are abstract and hard to learn without performing actual labs. We do not have funds or space to do this safely.

The solution to out problem is a set of classroom laptops so we can complete virtual labs on topics like Newton's Laws so they can manipulate variables and master the skills.

Selecting this project to sponsor will show students who have been given up on by many that as long as they believe in themselves they can accomplish anything.
