I teach high school math to deaf students, many of whom are economically challenged. My students are freshmen and looking to get started on the right track here in high school.

My students are freshmen in high school. Their families lack the money to buy them a graphing calculator many supplies. Plus, all my students are deaf, which makes it hard for them to keep up with their hearing peers in a competitive environment.

If my students can acquire graphing calculators it will be much easier to visualize math, retain what they are being taught, and they will learn at a quicker pace.

Your help with empower my students to learn math at a rate that could get them the credits they need to be eligible for college. In the competitive world we live in the more education someone has the better his or her chance to succeed. Since these children were born deaf they already are at a disadvantage. Help them be able to help themselves and give them the gift of these calculators.
