I teach special education at a middle school in Connecticut. I am fortunate to have "looped" with my students from last year, so I have the same group of students I had then. We're trying to come up with creative new ways to "show what we know"- and think a FlipShare camera is the perfect way to do it.

My students are very creative and like to demonstrate their knowledge in many creative ways-including making videos and performances. Lately, the kids have wanted to make videos about all kinds of things - their multiplication facts, "live" pen pal letters to their college pen pals, a newscast from the Revolutionary War, and videos encouraging their fellow students to recycle and protect the environment.

The students have an unlimited supply of creative ideas, as well as the energy and enthusiasm to create these projects - what we don't have is a way to film their final products. We need a FlipShare video camera so we can record and edit videos, then share them with everyone - classmates, pen pals, parents, and our school community.
