¡Buen éxito, siker and ycnex are spelled s-u-c-c-e-s-s in English! My S.C. K through 5th grade second language learners, especially 3-5, need simple bilingual dictionaries to be successful readers and writers of English.

These hard working students are struggling to learn yet another language at the same time they are expected to learn grade level content material, i.e. science, social studies, English Language Arts, writing, math, music, art, computer skills and physical education. They want more than to be conversationally adequate, they want to be fluent in the reading and writing of English. Home Language-English dictionaries will help make this task obtainable.

Home Language-English dictionaries are necessary for the second language learner to apply their knowledge of their home language to their new language~English. Bilingual dictionaries help clear the mental mist of confusion concerning word spelling, choice, meaning and usage. Our English language class concentrates on the continual improvement of speaking, writing and reading English.

Your care for second language learners and the support you offer through your heart felt donation will change the lives of hard working second language learners, the majority of which are U.S. citizens.
