My special education preschool students need modeling sand, scented playdough, moon sand, felt, a craft tape center, playdough scissors, and playdough letter stampers.

I teach developmental/special education preschool in a high-needs, low-socioeconomic neighborhood.

My preschool classroom is a brand new addition to the school. Since my classroom is brand new, I am struggling to build up my resources. As a preschool teacher, most of my resources tend to be consumable items! As a special education preschool teacher, I am always in need of sensory-related activities!

As a special education preschool teacher, I have a lot of students that require sensory stimulation--especially my students with autism. My school is on a limited budget and can afford to purchase the sensory related items that my students need. Your donation will provide modeling sand and moon sand for my sensory table activities. It will also provide my students with scented playdough and playdough scissors that will give my students the opportunity to practice cutting in a safe and fun environment.

Your donation will make it possible for my students to explore moon sand and modeling clay (which is very expensive for a teacher to purchase out-of-pocket). For those of you who know children with autism or sensory-processing disorder---you know how important it is for these students to explore various sensory activities.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
