Have you ever known someone who takes a Foreign Language class, and can't speak a word of the language they studied? Help high school students in a high poverty urban charter school with a highly diverse population develop their speaking skills in class.

Students in our school love to speak in Spanish, and our computers have a software on them that allow students to record speaking samples. The problem is, we don't have microphones, so students cannot produce recordings!

I need 34 headphone\microphone combination units, so that each student in my class can simultaneously record speaking samples in Spanish. After recording each day, students will use a rubric to reflect on their performance and determine ways to improve their speaking. Students will increase speaking fluency that will help them in conversation in Spanish.

Your help will ensure that my students develop their speaking abilities in Spanish. The ability to speak in a foreign language is invaluable in today's global economy, and students will greatly benefit from your generosity.
