My students need to read books that will engage them. They do not have many, if any, books that are their own.

I am requesting 25 copies of the book The Blind Side for my students. If students have a 95% or higher attendance rate I will allow them to keep the book as an incentive.

You will make it possible for me to engage my students in reading and reward them for coming to school on time and ready to learn.

My students need 25 copies of "The Blind Side" by Michael Lewis.

Dear Karen, Paul and Open Society Institute - Baltimore,

Thank you so much for your generous gift. My students are going to be very excited to get their hands on this book. Since it is about a Baltimore Raven, I expect to have a lot of kids be motivated by Oher's life story. Thank you for playing a part in fulfilling my goal to provide my students their own library. They will leave this year with several books, and I expect The Blind Side to become a fan favorite among my kids.

Have a wonderful holiday season. My students will be very grateful for this opportunity.

With gratitude,
Mr. D.
