My college-bound 2nd graders love to explore and discover! Many of us learn best when we can experience something. Despite their high-need, mainly English learning background, my students are determined to have the experiences that will lead them to college. Many of these experiences are dependent on the critical thinking skills they acquire outside the boudaries of daily lessons.

As a classroom teacher, I am confident that I provide a lot of fun and engaging lessons for my scholars. However, I know that my students need more opportunity to figure things out for themselves.

Board games will bring some more fun into my students day while allowing time for them to develop critical thinking skills. As the weather gets colder and they can no longer go outside, they can excersize their brains. They are getting smarter and they don't even know it!
