I teach 21 second grade students. We are striving to be a 21st century classroom environment. We have been doing some small projects and posting them online but we are eager to do more.

Students in my classroom are ready for the Jetson age of learning but we are still in the Flintstone teaching mode at our school. I would like to help my students engage in learning by creating more technology projects that would help their learning soar.

To help them create more projects I would like to have a video camera and wireless microphone system in the classroom. We could use the video camera to make reader's theaters come to life with a green screen and a few props. We would also record and publish podcasts on things we are learning in the classroom. Students could take their own pictures and video to add to their projects as they help teach others in the classroom and become a community of learners.

With your help we can become a 21st century classroom. You will help my students become totally engaged in their learning experiences as their projects go from plain old pencil and paper to really creative movies, podcasts and more.
