I teach 25 sixth grade students. We are in a high need community and we have over 95 percent of the students in a high poverty situation. Many of these students are new to the United States and are dealing with learning the English language.

This group of students seems to learn best by doing. This interactive white board allows for this. It's a treat to be able to go to the front of the class, touch the board, and show your way of figuring out the problem.

An interactive white board allows me to show the students examples and allow them to work the problems in a variety of ways. I can even set it up to display animation and have fun noises go off when the students get the right answer.

You can help these students by helping to purchase this latest technological piece of equipment that will expand minds for many years to come.
